The New River is an artificial waterway in England, opened in 1613 to supply London with fresh drinking water taken from the River Lea and from Chadwell.   Chadwell Heath is an area in East London. It is situated on the boundary of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham and the London Borough of Redbridge

Herbert Chapman

1925–1934: Arsenal manager

Herbert Chapman was an English football player and manager. Though he had an undistinguished playing career, he went on to become one of the most influential and successful managers in the early 20th century, before his sudden death from influenza in 1934. He is regarded as one of the game's greatest innovators.
